Traffic Impacts

Lane Closures:

There will be an overnight lane closure on Interstate 95 southbound on the Fuller Warren Bridge’s right lane from Park Street to San Marco Boulevard from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday, December 18 to Friday, December 22 and again from Tuesday, January 2 to Saturday, January 6. These closures are for bridge foundation construction from the top of the Fuller Warren Bridge.

I-95 SB to Stockton Street ramp closure
Your10and95 will have a long-term closure of the ramp on I-95 SB to Stockton Street for approximately one year starting November 13. The closure may extend longer than a year due to weather, holidays and other unforeseen delays. Crews will construct new dedicated Stockton and Irene Street ramps.

  • Interstate 95 southbound to Forest Street detour:
    Motorists traveling on Interstate 95 southbound can take the Forest Street exit and make a right onto Forest Street then a left onto Margaret Street which turns into Edison Avenue which will reconnect to Stockton Street.
  • Interstate 95 southbound to Interstate 10 westbound detour:
    Motorists traveling on Interstate 95 southbound can also take Interstate 10 westbound to the McDuff Avenue exit. Once at the exit, make a right on McDuff Avenue, then make another right on Edison Avenue which will reconnect with Stockton Street.
Updates

Erosion Fences and Survey Crews
Erosion fences will continue going up over the next few weeks within the construction zone. You may see construction crews surveying the areas surrounding the project scope.

Filling in Ponds
Construction crews have been working under I-95 along Riverside Avenue to make way for a new parking lot to be constructed on the west side of Riverside Avenue scheduled for completion in November, 2017.

Testing the Soil under Fuller Warren Bridge
Construction crews in barges may be seen under the Fuller Warren Bridge, on the water, testing soil foundation. This should have no impact on interchange traffic above.

Bridge Construction
In early fall, bridge construction is expected to begin on the south side of the Fuller Warren Bridge.
